AOL And Digital River Bring Change At The Top.

AOL Inc. (NYSE: AOL) announced an addition to its board on Tuesday. AOL appointed Eve Burton, to its Board of Directors. Eve Burton, a senior vice president and general counsel at Hearst Corporation, brings to AOL Inc. vast experience in the media industry.  Burton also has a wealth of expertise in government affairs. AOL stock price moved up by .8% in yesterday’s trading, closing the day at $34.07.

Another company which made an addition to its board of directors was Digital River (NASDAQ: DRIV), provider of cloud based e-commerce, payment and marketing solutions. The company appointed Ed Eger to its board of directors. Mr Ed Eger was a former senior vice president and regional General Manager at PayPal, the payments service owned by EBay. He has been associated with the establishment of the PayPal payment service in North and South America, and brings to Digital River vast experience from the payments world. The stock price of EBAY gained over 1% in yesterday’s trading session, closing the day at $54.63.
