Stock valuation is the study of a company to find its actual or true value by separating the noise created by financial market news and stock updates. The final goal of this valuation is to estimate the intrinsic value of a company so that an investor can decide if the stock is fairly priced, and benefit from future price growth. When this stock valuation is applied to fundamental analysis, it involves looking at projections of future cash flows and profitability to deduce current fair value. At Amigobulls, we look at absolute valuation parameters such as dividends, free cash flows, revenues of a company; and supplement it with relative valuation parameters like the P/E ratio, price to sales ratio. The former helps us pick companies which have solid fundamentals all by themselves and the latter helps us determine if those companies are fairly valued when compared within their respective industries.

However, stock valuation is not easy as it is based on estimates for the future which can go wrong. Our analysts always take a conservative approach to provide our investors with a margin of safety. Read our articles to get our outlook on stocks.
