Boingo Wireless Finds New Partner In Movile

Boingo Wireless (WIFI), the leading Wi-Fi services provider, yesterday announced a new partnership with Latin American mobile services company Movile. Under the new partnership Boingo Wireless will offer the 8 million Movile customers access to its global Wi-Fi hotspots. Movile customers will be able to access the internet while on the move, without having to pay the expensive roaming charges they currently pay. The partnership comes at a time when global mobile service providers are looking to provide their customers with value added services at lower costs. Boingo network will be accessible to Movile free zone premium subscribers in fall of 2013. Following this agreement Movile joins a list of other Boingo partner service providers which include Verizon, Skype, DoCoMo, and NTT. Boingo stock remained flat in yesterday’s trading session, closing at $ 7.08, the same as its previous close.
