Insider Trading Updates (Aug 21, 2013)

This is a roundup of the significant insider trades which have occurred over the last few days. Dice Holdings (NYSE:DHX) CEO Scott Melland offloaded 60000 shares in the open market in three transactions on 15th, 16th and 19th of August for a total transaction value in excess of$515,000. This transaction follows another transaction by the CEO in which he had offloaded 60000 shares in the open market in transactions spread over 1st, 2nd and 5th August for a total transaction value of over $527000. The stock price of Dice holdings has fallen by 12% over the last one month.

Also joining the club of insider trades was Mercadolibre (NASDAQ:MELI) CEO Marcos Galperin who sold 293338 shares of the company for an average price $125.01. The transaction was completed on Aug 8th for a sum of over $36 million. That essentially means the CEO offloaded close to one-third of his total holdings in the company’s stock with this transaction.

Completing our updates on inside trades is WebMD (NASDAQ:WBMD) director Stanley Trotman who unloaded 15300 shares of WebMD stock in the open market on Aug 15th at an average price of $32.13 pocketing close to half a million dollars.
