The company's parks and resorts segment owns and operates resorts, cruises, guided family vacations, and theme parks around the world. This division comprises of 12 theme parks and 43 resorts, with some of the famous Disney managed properties being Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
Disney Consumer Products comprises of products which include toys, apparel, and books. This division comprises of three business segments: licensing of the Disney brand; publishing of children's books which also includes the English language learning business; and its retail stores with over 350 stores worldwide.
The Walt Disney Studios produces movies under the Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, and the Touchstone Pictures banners. Apart from movies, this division also brings music and stage plays to its consumers through Walt Disney Records and Disney on Broadway respectively.
Disney Interactive started in 2008, creates mobile content, social and console games and online virtual worlds for its consumers.
